Dustball kitty

This is the shop kitty from my work/study gig again. She had a bad day (a seizure!) last Friday and it's unclear how much longer she'll be with us. She still rules the roost, though, and claims whatever warm chair has most recently been vacated.

Hey, is that Karo (who left a comment on my post from 8/1) as in Karolina A. from college? I very much appreciate any cat advice I get right now! The vet thinks he has ruled out hyperthyroidism because she's actually gained a little weight recently, since we changed food. Diabetes similarly looks unlikely based on her blood work. She's having an abdominal ultrasound on Friday morning, and we'll be keeping an eye on her for any changes.
